  • Corporate Training Manager

    Position Title: Corporate Training Manager, Associate Experience

    Reports to: Director, Associate Experience  

    Location: Hallandale, FL

    Exemption: Exempt


    The Scoop


    The Corporate Training Manager, Associate Experience is responsible for executing corporate training initiatives within the franchise network and providing guidance on new center launches, existing center training and continual education programs. The Associate Experience Corporate Training Manager oversees a team of corporate trainers and is the main point of contact for regional training teams. 

    A Day in the Life:


    • Arranges all Guest Service Associate and Wax Specialist training for Corporate Centers.
    • Assesses all performance feedback for new Guest Service Associate and Wax Specialist trainees for corporate centers.  Corresponds with Corporate Center Managers on feedback. 
    • Responds to feedback forms to guide corporate and regional training teams.
    • Sets performance metrics and evaluates productivity.
    • Manages a team of 10 (5 Guest Service Associate Trainers and 5 Wax Specialist Trainers).  This includes performance management, coordinating time off/vacation, building team culture, day to day scheduling. 
    • Hosts monthly Corporate Trainer team meetings. This includes informing the team of changes, building team culture, upskilling corporate training team.
    • Coordinates network wide new center launches, existing center training and continual education programs.  This includes scheduling training dates, scheduling corporate trainers, booking travel arrangements, assessing feedback, and billing when necessary.
    • Prepares training reports, including turnover, billing, costs of training, trainer bonus items.
    • Follows through on any additional tasks designated by the Associate Experience, Director.

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

    A Day in the Life:


    • Responsible for Initial Training of all new Wax Specialists to corporately-owned locations.
    • Conduct Location Launch Training for all new centers in the South Florida Region. Also Responsible for the first 3 Location Launch Trainings for new regions across the network.  
    • Conduct Follow Up Training for all new centers in the South Florida Region. Also responsible for Follow Up Trainings for the first 3 centers under a new region.  
    • Responsible for checking in/out Computer and Projector System when traveling for trainings. 
    • Responsible for staying up-to-date with weekly schedule.
    • Responsible for keeping all receipts from purchases made on company credit card. Purchases are only to be made for work traveling purposes; additional charges must be approved by manager. 
    • Cover Wax Associate shifts in corporately-owned centers when needed.
    • Conduct Additional Wax Associate Training when needed.
    • Participate in community events and street team marketing when requested.
    • Participate in all Trainer meetings.
    • Participate on Strut Bloomfire by actively commenting on questions and posts.
    • Must be punctual to all requested trainings, meetings, and events. 
    • Evaluate and coach new and existing Wax Associates.
    • Provide feedback and input to support development of new and innovative training materials.
    • Build and maintain successful relationships with Center Managers and Regional Coaches.





    What Sets You Apart 

    • Must have a current Florida Full Service Specialist or Cosmetology License.
    • Must have complete scheduling flexibility and open availability to travel with short notice. Which includes overnight, weekend, and extended days.
    • Must be living in or be willing to relocate to the South Florida Region.  
    • A valid driver’s license as there is travel that requires driving.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to give, receive, and implement feedback.
    • Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to deliver trainings in an engaging and consistent manner.
    • Must be able to develop, deliver, and monitor the results of new training tools.
    • Positive, confident, and strong team player who is able to work independently with limited supervision.
    • Ability to work calmly and effectively, under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office systems.
    • A strong desire to work with others and engage new associates with energy and enthusiasm for EWC.
    • Full understanding of the EWC vision and strategy.

    Position Title: Learning Specialist

    The Learning Specialist position is responsible for utilizing instructional design, performance improvement and adult learning principles to analyze, design, develop and evaluate instructional materials and programs. This position will also design and develop new customized courses, curriculums and programs, as well as maintain and update existing courses using instructional design methods, interactive blended learning approaches, behavioral objectives and performance measures.  


    A Day in the Life:


    • Designs, develops and evaluates learning solutions for multiple delivery methods including instructor-led, web-based, performance coaching, and blended instruction for specific content areas.
    • Responsible for planning, executing and managing instructional design projects leveraging internal resources using effective project management tools and methods.
    • Leverages internal partners and associates in the creation of learning programs and assists the training coordinators in the logistical elements.
    • Proactively identifies training needs through needs assessments, presenting recommendations and developing learning solutions to address performance gaps.
    • Responsible for the overall integrity of the instructional design and quality of all learning materials delivered.
    • Create and manage projects.
    • Provide support on timelines by administering deadlines and recording progress to numerous project teams.
    • Assist in the creation of strategy and programs in talent acquisition, talent management, and other key areas.
    • Demonstrate experience with industry standard methodologies.
    • Liaise with other departments.
    • Analyze and improve on existing processes.

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
      • At least three years of instructional design or training development experience.
      • At least 3 years of experience working closely with subject matter experts to develop training strategies and solutions.
      • At least 3 years of experience assessing, designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions.
      • Experience in franchise/distributed workforce environments is preferred.
      • In-depth Human Resources, Organizational Development and/or Talent Management background highly preferred.

  • Marketing Coordinator - Creative Services

    Position Title:            Marketing Coordinator – Creative Services

    The Marketing Coordinator will work with the team responsible for designing and effectively delivering network marketing assets.  This role will manage the day-to-day operations of the group, plan its resources and priorities, and ensure projects are completed on time and in accordance to our brand templates.

    A Day in the Life

    • Day-to-day supervision of the Creative Services Graphics Team, ensuring outstanding creative is provided to the network within agreed upon deadline.
    • Review and filter all network's local marketing  artwork requests as well as oversee the production of the creative utilizing templates that are used in visual communication mediums including print, video, events and digital.
    • Ensure all templates have been received from agency and are organized for the team to use. 
    • Update the network's archive site with the up-to-date creative for current and upcoming campaigns.
    • Organize and maintain the internal template server with archives of all past and current creative files from ad agency.

  • Reservation Center Associate

      Position Title: Reservation Center Associate

      Reports to: Reservation Center Manager 

      Location: Hallandale Beach, FL

      The Reservation Center Associate will join the Guest Experience department as a key player in providing our guests with an exceptional phone experience. This position will be responsible for answering phones and booking reservations for our 17 corporate run centers. The Reservation Center Associate will handle all functions of scheduling, changing and cancelling reservations.
